Tour of New Indianapolis International Airport

After nearly thirty years of planning, Indianapolis is getting an entirely new airport terminal this fall to replace the aging and rather oddly placed existing facility. Opening November 12, the new facility will feature more gates, better security, faster checkpoints, a significantly larger baggage claim zone and many other amenities of modern-day airport facilities.

The Airport Authority was nice enough to host a “Community Days” event back in early October to help everyone become familiar with the facility before the big opening day. As much as I travel for work, I figured it would be a good idea to check it out myself. The video below will give you a quick glimpse into the new facility. If you ever travel to Indianapolis, hopefully you will appreciate the impressive new facility.
