About Chris Hadley

Now Boarding at the Gate is a blog meant to entertain, inspire and evoke discussion. In life, I believe it is paramount to recognize the occurrences throughout the day that make us who we are. So often we let events pass us by without recognizing the entertainment or value they offer.

Often times, the smallest occurrences during the day – be it something we discover online or an entertaining situation during lunch – are the perfect catalyst for an interesting discussion.

So how do I see this blog - I see it as a great way for me to keep track of what I have taking place day-to-day. However, this blog is also my personal outlet to share occurrences I find entertaining or perplexing throughout my day. I hope visitors take the time to leave comments and discussion material.

Who is Chris Hadley?

I am your usual small town, Midwestern, mid twenties male from Indiana. Be that as it may, I am very passionate about family, friends, wine, construction, travel and writing. I follow new media and thoroughly enjoy all it has opened up to those who embrace it. I follow many blogs on a regular basis, and I am always looking to broaden my interests and learn more about people and their passions.

One recent technology that has really caught my attention is seesmic.  If you are not part of that community, you really should check it out.  It is a great way to share discussion ideas and make new friends.  You can find me on seesmic under cphadley.

I am on a continual journey to keep doing what I enjoy and sharing my passions with friends. While I am not doing that, I work full-time as Communications Specialist for a large construction firm. I don’t see myself always living in the Midwest, but you never know where the journey is going to take you.  For now, I am working on starting a consulting business for new home buyers in hopes I can help many people avoid making the costly mistakes that have led to the financial situation we are in today.

For now, I will keep on planning, working, dreaming and sharing…you never know when that will lead to something greater. My general philosophy - be who you are, do what you enjoy and try to inspire others along the way by doing so. Most importantly, be a good person and may goodness prevail! It may sound like a generic statement, but it is one I think more people need to embrace.
